I didn't end up going to PA. Had about 8 tractors at 5 stops planned and by Saturday all had sold or had deposits. Ended up just going to a local jockey we had no visited by us. Drove quite a few tractors but found a nice 6200 MFWD with cab, 2 scv's, 25gpm pump, just over 3,000 hours. At one point there were loader brackets bolted to the frame. My local JD said it came from Canada, had a few issues but nothing major over its life and found service records every 3 years for hy-guard and coolant for a 12 year period. I drove it, went good in all gears, took it down the road, started good, has a new strongbox battery in it, tires are 90% BKT's. We would replace our 2555 with this and still continue to look for a 100HP machine.

Anyone with good bad and ugly on one of these?

The farm owner came with me and basically we finally got it figured out that a 4055, 4255, etc. is just too big so we were able to narrow our search down a bit with that.

I have a 1994 6200 2wd open station that I bought in 1999. It has a little over 3000 hours on it. The only thing I have had to fix is a fuel pump in the tank and a fuel check valve that was allowing the fuel to leak back so it would not easily start. Other than that just routine maintenance. It runs great and I have been well pleased with it. Sid

I've got a 6410 I brought new.It has around 650 hours,4x4,cast wheels, air seat. All it's ever done is pull a batwing mower.Took my ground out of the crp program, been thinking about selling it and getting something smaller.

That's a bit of a haul for me, but let me know when you decide to sell it. From your description,it sounds like you've already wrung the life out of it, and probably would need to pay someone to haul the carcass away. I can be had for cheap.

I'm sure it is top notch, and thus, probably out of my reach. Hard to get rid of something that nice, but smaller can be better!!
