1906 John Deere pocket Companion with pictures

My neighbor gave me a 1906 John Deere Farmers Pocket Companion with calendar and pictures of all the mule drawn equipment that John
Deere made. I will include a few pictures here. I thought it was a real neat find. His great grand father had a general store in the late 1800's and
early 1900's. He sold some of this equipment. If there is a particular implement anyone wants to know about let me know and I will send you a
picture with a brief discription of it.

I like these old pocket planners,, I have a few of them, and buy one now and then..
Some have notes put in from days gone by,,I read them and wonder what was taking place at that time...

Friend of mine recently obtained one from a South Carolina dealership completing his collection of at least one from every lower state. Is still looking for ones from Alaska and the Canadian Provinces of Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island.
He also has a 99th edition, some of you will understand the signifigance of this.

They sold about 50 of them today at an estate auction in ohio.A couple came from dealerships within 10 miles of me I had never heard of,before my time.

This one has several pages withindividuals names listed and dollar amounts be side each name. Wonder what that was about back then. Some of the names I recognize from the past. Interesting to say the least!!!
