seat cushion B

I'm trying to come up with an original equipment seat cushion for a late 47 B and so far I am coming up empty handed. The cushion I am talking about has the horizontal springs in the cushion like the originals were. I have purchased two of these cushions in the past but cant come up with anything now. Google hasn't helped so far. All of the usual aftermarket sources offer only foam filled seats. Does anybody know of a source for these seats? Thanks.

Wife got one for me from Steiner for Christmas. It has the springs, and metal corner protectors. It seems to be pretty high quality.

From p. 450 of their catalog:

Bottom Seat Cushion (Wood bottom/w original style springs & steel corner protectors) fits; A,AR,B,D,G,R,50,60,70,80,520,530,620,630,720,730,820,830,840 Standard

Choice of Yellow or black vinyl $68.95 plus shipping

New back and seat cushion was $135.39 including shipping to Southern Illinois.

Found it! Thanks so much for your replies. On a side note, I posted this on modern but your responses only came through on classic. It shows I have two replies on modern but they aren't there.

I'll be darned, I didn't know about that. And this is a version of seat cushion only s t e I n e r carries. Can't get it anywhere else.

I ordered one many years back from a fellow up in the north US. I think. I can't for the life of me remember his name ? He advertised in the trade magazines. It is nice and has the springs. Not as heavy of springs as an original I have. They sure ride better than the foam.

Mike, you and I are thinking of the same guy but for the life of me I can't remember the name either. I got a couple of seats from him and they are good ones for sure. S t e I n e r claims to be the only source for these seats if I can believe them.

You are probably thinking of Leland Schwandt. He retired and his grandson, I believe, took over but I think his day job made him too busy. It's too bad, he did nice work.
