What's a pair of 9 bolt hubs off a 4020 worth? I found a pair of nine bolt axle duals,but don't need the hubs. I wondered how much money I could recoup by selling the hubs.
 
Don't know. Just saw them on CL. Can't tell much from the picture,it just says hubs for 4020.
 
I've send factory 9 bolts advertised for $350 an up, Larry Anderson deals in they daily, an could give you an accurate price... factory 9 bolt in pic.

The 3 3/8 hubs pictured if in good shape will bring $350 some ask and get more.Many pulling associations have mandated weld on hubs.There are several different wedge sizes from 2 7/8 to 3 5/8[maybe 3 7/8?] and they all will not interchange as there are some different hubs also.If you break a wedge they are very hard to find.Most everyone prefers the wedge style hub over M&W or DMI with clamps but they work fine if tight. Of course 10 bolt hubs are stronger but the hubs in question will take 150H.P.Put them on Pull Off.com and they will sell.
 
Those almost look like the M&W hubs. I think those were the ones I was gonna check out myself, but after studying the pictures real well, it looked like they had quite a bit of cracking in the sidewalls. Maybe not, but that's what it looked like to me
 
The ones with u-bolts are practically worthless. Took a set to a consignment sale and didn't even get a bid. The true JD 9-bolt hubs are def. worth more. A couple years ago when things were going for hot, I saw a set go for $700 at an auction. Nowadays they won't bring near that though and condition means a lot. If some of the bolts are missing or if the stud holes or even the pusher bolt holes get stripped out, then value goes down considerably. They are only usable if they function well. I took a set off a 4320 a year or so ago and the wedges were still shiny on the back side. That was a nice set. So I would say 200-400 depending on condition.
