Rebuilding breakaway couplers 3010

When rebuilding the couplers,if you use the flat orings do they require the plastic backing ring? JD didn't put orings for the ring where the male tip on the hose would contact, just the big flat ring. Thanks Craig

Yes, the quad rings still require a back up ring.

Yes it will work ok with just the quad ring..

The orings were never used on JD style tips. Orings are used on pioneer tips.
