Pump wore out ? Like some info .2 gears & housings Any info
on Dimensions . What's the GPM for that little pump ??
l'm putting 4630 parts in a 760a Deere part will interchange .

I don't think there is an actual spec for what they will flow,, I usually look them over close to decide if they need changed out, they only need to make 165 psi in the transmission system and what is left over flushes to feed the front pump at a low pressure and a flow of around 15-20 GPM,, the power shift pump is a much better pump than the one used on the sychro/Quad range.

The book I have shows the specification for thinner gears & smaller housing on 760a . Deere up dated trans pump w/ wider gears & housing . Going through front clutch pack see if anything bad ?? Took pump apart gears seem to have a lot end play ,Housing has gear chewing on side of wall (the small gear ). Look to put new housing 1/2 on one side pump / find other good used housing other 1/2 . Good set of used gears . Would like to find specs on pump . May have go buy manual for info . If I can get (good used part ) have some come like spec . To compare. Thanks.

4430 trans pump flow at 2000 rpm 12 gallons per minute, my 4630 spec book says charge flow at 2000 rpm 12gpm with a powershift, 10.5 permaclutch,

Hey Matthies does your manual have the dimensions of O.D. Of gears & width of gears , My tech manual for 760a has info spec for small gears & small housing. From what I understand the 4630 parts are the same as 760a updated bigger pump. Thanks.

It is very likely that first 760A used the 45-4620 pump up to when the 4630 came out, then started to use the 4630 parts.

Hey A Deere dealer service department (Young man) Aven.Born way after this machine was built look up info. Sent E-mail I'll try to get wife or kids (post for all to see).Thank Aven (help & time & patience).

Up date: pickup a new pump.I'M sending out a S.O.S. For info on 8speed Powershift .Rear Brake/clutch pack , It's still transmission housing . I put air to each brake pack #1 Leaks air when trying move piston till it moves no air leaking .Try several times when it moves no air leaks. (Like its sticking).#2 brake / clutch acting same not as bad. #3 brake/clutch moves smoothly no leaking when starting to applying air . #4 brake/clutch (rear pack) very smoothly no leaks. Went on to rear end . Differential lock put air I can hear drive disks in gauge & air leaking down in diff housing . Tell me what I don't want hear. 1 rear axel needs seal its coming off anyway . Is some air leaking acceptable??? ( Transmission seem to shift good w/ bad trans pump ) thanks.

(quoted from post at 01:08:14 03/07/17) It's normal for some leakage with air test, oil is thicker than air.
Tim S That's that I was thinking , Was thinking about a plate bolted with fittings to accommodate oil under pressure like a tank under air pressure pushing oil out (where shift valves are) located . Had 2 of the short metal lines ( brake pack) that are under trans cover come off under air pressure. Hey put a pressure gauge & shut off valve on it.( leak down test )?? Better idea about leaks. Like to look at front packs c1/c2/ PTO . Never had good oil psi to check shifting (drove it about 3-4 miles shifted good then). or put gauges to monitoring ( trans pump) bad. Thanks
