Anyone know what this one came out of? All I was told was John Deere 2 cylinder.

Later styled L or LA. Could be a combine engine maybe.

Governor is on front, so I am thinking it is JD engine, which superseded Hercules.

If so would fit LA, LUC or late LI.

Well worth that as it has the carb. Wonder if the Mag. is still on the other side ? I'm betting it came off a combine and is the LUC model. Lots of them around still. I think last one I had I got $500 out of it complete with radiator and sheet metal and running.
