At one time you could buy the tube that sticks up and the pin and springs as a kit that you just welded on. I think it was advertised in Green Magazine. I never bought any but wish I had a few right now. Maybe someone else can point us in the right direction. Tom

the company a and i has them pins available and you can still buy the top washer and the clip from john deere.
it is always nice to have something working as it should.

If on your 3010; Pretty easy strait forward fix ; [We"ve done several], unless the welded on pipe sleeve is broke, hardest part is removing crimped in washer that holds spring in pipe sleeve, All parts available from Deere; but same parts available from A&I , "half the price"... Study Parts Cat. pc-690 on jdparts.com helps with disassembly..

Wouldnt mind having that problem craigco, my pins act like they are welded in. Any idea on how to get mine adjustable again? So far lots of penetrating oil and hammers have not worked!

Best way I've heard of to free up stuck telescoping draft links is to remove them from tractor and put them in a large brush pile and set it on fire. After they cool they should free up.

This is on a 3010 just a square shaft in the tube. Found the parts on jdparts. So it looks like you spend some time opening up the top of the tube to get the washer out on top then put it new guts and tap the top back around the washer. Sorry for slow response half the posts didn't show up on classic view. We are in a very dry climate so most of my stuck pins and such are locked up from wind driving dust. Got my 3 point arms free with some penetrating oil and putting a clevis in the drawbar and then running a bar through the clevis and end of the arm and pushing and pulling it to come free.
