Buddy seat for 4055

Have never seen a buddy seat for 4030, 4040, et al. Is/was there such a thing? If not have you ever seen one fabricated? Thanks.

there is one that replaces the left armrest in SG tractors. I believe shoup sells it, probably others.

Are you aware that left arm rest will lower even to bottom cushion level simply by pushing release button in armrest?

IMHO the way LH lower cab wall on SGB slopes in from fender to below seat I think a buddy seat would bottom out with 2 people sitting on it that are very heavy.

This is the one I was thinking of. Gives you a tad more room for your bottom but not much.

I put this in the 4430. Doesn't add a lot of room, but is better than just the arm rest. Not handy for 2 adults, but does make a kids ride more pleasant.

I wonder if you can put a narrow seat on a wide based cab, offset to the right, to get room for bigger kids?

I would think you could find an old motorcycle seat to fit up higher on the left side if you were a little mechanical. give it a shot. j
