Hi all,
One of the gears in my 1010RS transmission has a broken tooth, and I was planning to get the new gear out of the transmission of my 1010RU parts tractor. However, when I started looking to buy the gaskets and seals I needed, I noticed that there's a difference between the two parts in the transmission diagram. It looks like the RU gear has 21,27, and 43 teeth, while the RS gear has 19,26, and 43 teeth. My question is, will the part from the RU fit into my RS, or would I be better off just moving the one good engine I have over to the RU and making the RS my parts tractor? The new gear would cost about 300 dollars, and I think it'd be cheaper to just move the engine over if the parts aren't compatible.
Thanks.
