Just started my 1940 H yesterday afternoon and noticed it was exhausting blue smoke. Not a ton but noticeable. It's been stored in a heated garage at about 45 degrees. It continued to smoke after it warmed up. I did not notice any smoke over the summer at much warmer temps. Anything to do with colder temps?

I would get it good and warm and and change the oil. Then let it work up a sweat. If it sat a while, the rings may need to be loosened up. If it did not smoke last summer, then you should be able to get it back to not smoking.
What kind of gas do you use in it. Did you put a gas stabilizer in it before storing?
I always turn the gas off on mine and let it run the carb dry.
Make sure the oil level is correct and radiator water has not leaked into the crankcase raising the oil level.
Let us know what you find.
