Should a 7020 and a 5020 have vented fuel tanks? either with the cap or a vent line on the tank?

The 7020 looks like it has a vent on the right side tank, but the 5020 tank doesnt look like there is anything.

Thanks

AFAIK, you have it figured out.

Thanks Bob.

The reason i asked was on a 5020 i have, i changed the fuel filter and had to loosen the fuel cap to fill the filter and get fuel to the injector pump, there was a lot of vacuum. I havent finished changing over the 24v to 12v so i didnt get to run it after that, but i didnt think there should be that much vacuum. Just surprised i guess.

AFAIK all tractor fuel tanks must have a vent or a vacuum will be created when fuel exits tank. My guess is 5020 fuel cap should have a vent in it. Parts search reveals 7020 & 5020 utilized the same fuel cap.

I was real sure somewhere on there should be a vent. Ill try cleaning it up and blowing it out this week and see what happens. Just needed a 2nd, 3rd, 4th opinion from the brain trust.

Thanks!
