John Deere M What are the selling for ??

Looking at a John Deere M Runs , Tins fairly straight, looks like a poor older repaint. Thinking about it for a project. What are they selling for now days?? Thanks

What style??? Tricycle, wide front, etc. It makes a difference in what they are worth. Also location does as well. In general a none restored but running JD "M" will bring in the $1500-2500 range with wide front end ones bringing the most.

M = Standard
MT = row crop version, either a tricycle, wide front or narrow front
MI = Industrial
MC = Crawler

There were a few MTW's but I think they're rare. (Row crop wide front) I just went to tractordata and they don't list it, but I have a JD
collectors guide at home and that's where I saw it.

And then toss another $1200 to $ 2000 plus to get it all straightened out. And you still have a tractor worth $ 2000. Such is the story of my life.

Folks are really "proud" of them here in Texas and prices range from $1500 to $3500 depending on condition.

Paid $2000 for "Sparky" back in 2008.

Tractor ran good, had straight tin, and was painted with a brush.

Should make a good project.

Hope this helps.

A VERY nice grille indeed !

Many of them from up here in Ohio have cracked and or welded up heads and blocks from freezing.

We have also been very fortunate with the condition of the grilles on our three 1951 MTs.

"Mac" had a grille with a MC decal on it.

"Rusty" is just as the name implies.

"Sam" is the original paint.

We really like and enjoy our M and MTs.

Since it's s standard Model with none adjust frt end I wouldn't
go much over 11 or 1200. unless it had all new rubber. And it would
be straight & not all rusted away..
