quick disconect?

Take a look at the photo in Help Identify. I wasn't very successful at uploading a photo here. Dad had all these green things and I don't know what they are for. I suspect it was some sort of quick disconnect for JD tractors.

The little cast studs [ cast # D-571A ] they may have # on them; go thru a hole in tractors pan seat, wire spring clip holds rope for clutch lift on plow, disk ,F. cult., drill etc. I've never seen one of the red clips before...

Ditto what green northern lights stated about the clip in upper portion of photo. I also have no idea what the other part is utilized for.

Hmmmmmm? I'm still seeing no photo(s) in either classic or modern view and you have "no email" selected. Apparently others are seeing pictures. I wonder how that is?

he red clip is just a fancy holder "MACKISSIC Trip Plow Rope Release " It is on EBay for $100. :roll: :roll: :roll: Let the bidding war begin..
