A tad very pricey but looks very neat. What is the long lever in front of the side console for?

Can't answer your question about the lever. Perhaps it is rigged to an on/off valve under the cab to run the front wheels???

I seriously considered doing HFA on my SG 6030. I felt the wheel base was a bit short already so I went without it. Not sure why Deere would use a swept back axle on that tractor anyhow.

Here is another shot of the lever from polks site. The detail is not that great though.

They sure do turn short with the swept back axel. I have a mechanical unit for my 4840 but never have the time to install it yet...one of theses days. My dad says sell it and get it out of they way!

Looks nice!If you look at the pictures the scv boxes are turned side ways. We had a new 6030 and it had over 250H.P.on dyno. The cab and problematic HFWA would make it more of a headturner than user. The 50/55 were big improvement and sell for about same as asking price or less.

The SCV are installed "flat" like all 6030's. Seems factory to me.

Looking again, it seems that the lever is bolted to the diff lock pedal.
Pictures are not showing well if the HFWA is functional or not.

Regardless, the price is too much in my opinion. 6030 is about 17 to 25K, now you add on a 3 to 4K axle and you sell it for 50k?

Yes, 49k is definitely gouging. Especially when you can get a nice 4955 or 4960 for that kind of money and have all the goodies.

If I was betting, I would say it's not functional. In fact, after looking at it, theres no way that it can be. That axle doesn't have the bottom pan to protect the hoses and I don't see any hoses for that matter sticking out anyhwere. All they did is slide the axles in the tube and cap off the fittings and call it a day.

I found that it takes a lot of "plumbing" to get one of those hooked up to a tractor that didn't have it before. I just got done doing it on my 4620. I think I did a pretty nice job but there are still hoses going all over. I spent over 1k in hoses alone. So no they didn't go all the way.

Didn't remember boxes mounted that way but been a long time.I thought about the hoses and thought they must have been quite innovative to hide the hoses as that was one problem with HFWD was leaks and hoses.
