Leather piston cup

went to John Deere to order the leather piston cup for the power lift cylinder on a GM and they said it was no longer available. Does anyone know of any vendors that would carry them? Thanks for your help, Mark.

Try Sharp's. If nothing else you can cut and shape one from an old boot.

Try oldjdforyou
I made my own, make a form wet the leather and press it into the form. You can do a search on Youtube

Are you sure yours is even bad ? Leather holds up pretty well in those.
A hyd. cylinder repair shop or Baum hyd. should be able to come up with a basic leather cup for the correct dia. If any holes are needed they can be put in with a hole punch.

See if you can reach Greg Stephens thru Green Magazine or Two-Cylinder. He had a dealership in Colorado and he may have a small stock of them left. I got one from him several years ago. He advertised them on ebay. Hope this helps.
