I still have a lot to do to it before it will run but at least now it sits on all 4 tires. When the shop had the block they popped off the serial number plate on the block. Is there any way to put it back on that will make sure it stays for years to come??
Thanks

Nearest JD dealer is 25 miles one way form me and I do not get that way very often

They're often called drive screws. According to the number Mike gave, you need a #7 by 3/8". McMaster Carr has them, but you'll be buying a hundred of them. A good hardware place might have them and sell them by the piece. Otherwise the dealer will be your easiest option.

One of the problem is I cannot see or feel where the plate should be so hard to find where to drill out the old rivets to install the plate

I know about where it is but there is nothing to feel or see as for being able to drill the rivets out so I can remount it
