I've had my 1947 B torn apart for the last few weeks to fix several things such as fan and new rebuild carb etc. I got it reassembled today and started it. It started just fine and ran good. I noticed TINY pieces of black cloth on the hood. I'm afraid to think, that some how a piece of a rag got stuck in the manifold. Either I made a mistake or a mouse.. Who knows at this point?
It seems to run ok, but did back fire once when I was messing with the throttle. So I would like to assume it is a small piece of cloth? If anything of considerable size found its way in it'd probably run like crap right? Any tricks or ideas to remove or check? I really do not want to take it all back apart further than where I was last week. How much damage could this do?
Any input appreciated. I'm very frustrated right now!
