3010 hyd check valve

I picked up the 3010 lp tractor. It has a du-al loader on it. It seems to drain all the oil out of loader when you shut it down far as it shakes like it had air in it. Cycle it a few times and it goes away. Steering works fine at start up. I read before about a check valve that goes bad and the fix is to install a new one on a line instead of splitting the tractor to replace the factory on. Is this on the right track and does anyone have the part number for the valve and what line to put it on? Thanks

Unhook the return line and head it into a bucket, start the engine and bring it up to half throttle or so, there should be "NO" oil going into the bucket,,and some valves have a pressure relief setting on them,, screw it in tight if you have one..

I bought one a few months ago. It goes in fitting back under the operaters platform in front of the rear left axle. The fitting is the valve out of a utility tractor hyd pump. You will need to drill and thread your elbow to install it. I will check and see if I can find the part number. Deere sells it as a kit and gives you complete directions. Tom
