Loader Install on JD 2130 Tractor

Howdy,

A friend of mine is planning to install a loader on his newly acquired (new to him) JD 2130 tractor. He wants to know where is the best place to tap into the tractor's hydraulic system.

Is this a closed center or open center system?

Closed Centre. Return line must go in the ported filter cover underneath the tractor.Supply line tees into a fitting under and beside the remote lever. You should be able to get a diagram of where these fittings are from Deere, since there are several different ways it connects, depending on what hydraulic options the tractor has. Best place to access hyd pressure is to tee into fitting behind pressure control valve. Pressure control valve is located on RH side of trans case behind hyd filter housing. Ported hyd filter cover is best place to return hyd oil from FEL control valve.

You're welcome. Although Ben already stated closed center valve I'll reiterate be sure it's a CC valve.

Don't know if your loader is a quick-tach or not. Mine is, so they plumbed in ISO disconnects at the ported cover and the pressure feed. Makes it super easy to disconnect the hydraulics and drop the loader.
