I have a LA where the belt pulley needs replacing. Is there anyone that rebuilds them or can that paper material be replaced with anything. Thanks

I have no financial interest in the below firm:

There is a company called Paper Pulleys in Columbia, TN that restores pulleys. They advertise in Red Power and some other magazines.

Yes.

Agree with [b:654c4848f0]John Deere D[/b:654c4848f0] that "[i:654c4848f0]There is a company called Paper Pulleys in Columbia, TN that restores pulleys.[/i:654c4848f0]"

We had a paper pulley on "Sparky" our 51M, but it was in really bad condition.

You might consider replacing the paper pulley with a metal pulley.

Hope this helps.

You might contact the folks at The Ridenours Deere L Parts.

I recently bought one from Paper Pulleys. Real nice quality. All painted up, fast shipping. They will give you some cash for your spider as a "core" if you ask about it or you can send them your spider and wait a few weeks longer and they will repaper your original spider.

No connections with them myself - just a happy customer.

Did you get your clutch figured out?
