John Deere LA lights wiring

I just bought a John Deere LA recently. It was just a little bit disassembled and I?m trying to run the wiring for the lights. For the back light. I ran the wiring underneath on shield that shields the drive shaft. Placing the wiring in the little brackets. My question is where does the wiring go when you get to the end where the plate of the driveshaft hooks to the motor? Does go on the bottom of the plate(underneath the tractor) and go back up to the switch? Or does it go up around the drive shaft and up into the motor? My worry on the last option was how do you keep it away from the drive shaft? I am hoping you can help me out? Any pictures would be great as well. You can email to [email protected] or text them to me at 812-228-6627. thks

Unless you are worried about the 'correct police'. Wire it in the safest way you can and zap tie every thing so it wont interfere with anything (or get on the exhaust etc.). HTH
