I have a JD 4230 that I purchased not
long ago. When I bought it I changed
all the fluids and filters and cleaned
the hydraulic screen filter. I noticed
after bushhogging for about five hours
the scv and around the rear end seemed
hot. I check the temperature with my
temp gun and it was showing anywhere
from 220 to 240 degrees. Does anybody
know how hot the hydraulic area should
get? It just has me concerned. I don't
want to mess anything up. Thanks for
the help.
