how to sell a 1920's John Deere D

Some of you may remember Larry from Maryland posts here, although much more active in the Oliver section. He died suddenly and unexpectedly in 2013. He had 27 tractors when he died. I (his sister) have sold most of them. There is 1 I have concerns on how to sell. It is a 1928(?) John Deere D, unstylized. It has been restored and was running, but has been stored in a barn collecting dust for 10 years. Is there a Mid-Atlantic auction you could recommend? It seems like this would need a more specialized auction.

Or, you could take a photo and advertise it in Green Magazine, which seems to have a large circulation and is popular among the green tractor folks.

Not much of a market for Wheatland tractors in Maryland. You can try Craigslist, but would probably do better at a sale in Indiana in the spring.
With crop prices like they are you may do better letting it sit in the barn a few more years.

I am not the most computer literate person. I've struggled to post with my new phone of less than 4 days. I hope this works. I have more pictures, just not sure how many will fit in one post.

Maybe this time will work

I would personally start with placing a photo ad on this site. The D looks like it would clean up nicely, and with full steel wheels and the optional PTO unit , these are good selling features. Also, the fenders look pretty good. I would start with a price around $4500, and be willing to negotiate from there. Good luck. If you don't get any bites here, try Craigslist, and even might consider having someone who is more into computers join one of the many John Deere sites on Facebook!. There is always someone looking for a D!!!!!
