Went to an auction yesterday, 3010 diesel in rough condition sold for 3500, I think 5th and reverse were out, very rough looking tractor to me. 4020 diesel very rough one new 18-4-38 rear tire, looked better than the 3010 brought 3,100, and a 4430 very rough condition that had an oil leak out the rear of engine 10,000. couldn't believe these prices for these tractors. You can buy nice tractors for that money most of the time if you look.

Yeah and you can't put those junkers into just an average condition for what you can buy an average one.

Did salvage guys buy them??? I go to several local auctions and the salvage parts guys will give much more than the tractors is worth running. Those cheaper JD 3020 and 4020s will easily part out what they brought. New parts prices being high has put a floor under parts tractors.
