I have a serious oil leak on my JD 410 LBH about a 1981 year. The leak is above the starter between the engine block and the clutch housing. How does the oil pressure line go from the engine block to the sensor in the clutch housing? This seems to have started after I replaced the starter. I have technical manuals, but they fail to show a oil lubriction flow diagram. Is it possible I damaged the oil line installing the starter?

There's no line there, just a gasket between the engine block and clutch housing adapter. It could be the sending unit there leaking.

I agree with mike engine oil sensor attaches to flywheel housing not clutch housing. Also check rear of engine cyl head for oil leak.
