Cost of body work

My wife is looking for Christmas gift ideas for me. I'd like to get the dings straightened out of my 720 hood and grills, and have them repainted. They're fairly straight, minor dents here and there. JD paint is fine, I don't need the clear coat stuff. Anyone have a rough idea of how much it'd cost at a body shop. I could run them into a shop but I thought maybe someone on here has had this done and could give me a rough idea.

Thanks!

Without seeing them , I'd say a min. of $500 and as much as $ 1000. You must remember a bodyshop has a hourly rate of anywhere from $45-$55 per hr for labor. You need to find someone who moonlites after a day job at body shop or someone retired from that profession who does it as hobby. I used to do both but don't touch it now.

I tried taking some tractor sheet metal to a regular body shop and they said they only do cars and trucks. I finally found a small out of the way shop to weld my patch into the B hood where it had been cut out to change the muffler like many have been.
