4230 no hyd problem

Last week my 4230 quad range got a hole in the hyd line leaving the front pump. I replaced the line and being as I had lost 5 gallon of oil did a complete hyd oil change with a new filter and checked the trans. screen as well. The screen was almost perfect. Went to bring in a load of corn and going back the field road we lost our steering. The brakes work, the pto works( it drives not just coasts) and the quad shifts from side to side but no steering, three point hitch and nothing at either rear hyd outlet. The pump shaft is turning. Where do I start? Thanks Tom

The PTO and quad operate off of the transmission pump, the brakes will work with low pressure out of the front pump.

I'd start by checking main pump pressure and flow ahead of the priority valve (which DEERE calls the "pressure control valve").

I thought brake valve was furnished oil by way of a line from steering valve @ 2250 psi. What valve are you referring to that lowers pressure to brake valve?

It's possible some debris is keeping stroke control valve from closing. Sometimes destroking,re-engaging hyd pump will dislodge this debris. Worst scenario R&R SC valve adjusting screw to remove debris.
