hydraulic coupler on a 7400

I know very little about JD tractors, especially newer ones. Friend wants me to help him replace hydraulic coupling cartridge in the cast iron housing on back of a 7400. How in the heck do you get it out? I took out the snap ring that I could see, but it will not come out. Must be something else holding it but I cannot see what it is. Anyone steering me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It appears barrels can be removed after snap-ring is removed.

OK, thanks for the reply. After looking at your schematic, it shows that back piece (#2) has bolts in it and will come off the back. I couldn't feel anything back their with my finger. It has 3 sets of remotes and they just stack one on top of the other. It's the top one so if I can't get it out, will remove the whole valve and he can take it to JD and let them do it. Thanks again. By the way, what part of Tx. you from. I live in east Tx. south of Palestine.
