Electronic ignition on 720 LP ?

(1) Can an electronic ignition be installed on my 720LP?
(2) Can I get rid of the porcelain resistor behind the dash?
(3) Do I still need the coil?
Tractor is positive ground with the original generator.

Yes, electronic ignition can be installed on 720. You can get rid of the resistor by installing a 3 ohm coil.

Make sure you order the kit for positive ground!

I've put several units on...they wire up direct 12v from switch. Don't mismatch the coil get the one with kit and be sure to specify you ground. Dramatic improvements.
