Just scrolling through craigslist again...

Seller says he will take $1000. Rear tires are good, one new front, one ok front tire. Is this worth traveling an hour for or should I keep looking?

Agree with the others that is a 1947 to 1949 model. Fenders and set of rear cast weights...easily worth $1k I would think.

Agree that it is later than 41 but that is pretty irrelevant to the price. I also agree with starting at $800 but I'd be happy at $1,000. At that price you can stick some money into fixing it up and not wind up really upside on the deal provided it is as advertised. Points and condenser in the mag and run through the carb passages with drill bits and you may well have a runner.

Looks pretty complete to me and not in too bad visual condition......having the light pressed steel rear wheels, you'll need the weights too. Not too bad a price I think.

It would be a project tractor but be prepared to open your wallet. Personally I'd go to some shows, check out the classifieds on this account, maybe even ebay. I think you could go up $1000-$1500 in price and get one restored much cheaper than you could work on this unit.
