My dad has a JD300 and when running the back hoe the left stabilizer control lever stuck in down position. Could only get stabiliser back up with force by unlodging (hitting) it. Then gets stuck in up position. When machine is off it is restricted but does move with force, but when running I have to hit it.

My guess is stabilizer control valve needs disassembled and cleaned.
