4430 clutch !

The clutch was slipping we took it out and the two speed in the quad and took to the dealer they quoted 3500$ for the clutch and redoing the
two speed clutches seals does this sound high?

Sounds like it's priced for an exchange, exchanged clutch on agkits is around $900, Abilene machine has quad ranges for around $2100, that puts you around $3k with some shipping and markup your at $3500

As long as everything is in good shape you could buy the new parts and have someone put it together way cheaper.

All the hard parts looked good needed new clutch disc and pto freshen up the 2 speed and reseal it!

Be sure to change the operating piston o-rings, don't worry about a few blue spots on the plates, and you will need to set it with a special tool,,when you go back together make "sure" the plates stayed up on the hubs, you can tell this but looking down into the edges and turn the hubs, also make sure the plates line up on the square dowel pins...just some thoughts...
