Correct John Deere green paint for 1991 2755 Manheim tractor

This topic has probably been worn thin, but I have searched the archives and cannot find an answer. I just bought a 1991 2755 Manheim tractor and I need to paint some front end weights. I saw somewhere that after the spring of 1989 John Deere changed every tractor worldwide to a new green. I am told that the JD TY25644 was the "Pre-spring-89 paint and the JD TY25624 was the "post-spring-89 paint. My tractor looks like it has had at least two different paints put on it. I am told that the TY25644 "older"is a little more olive colored and the TY25624 "newer" is a little more lime colored.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just ask at the dealers where you get the paint. I don't think there is much
difference, if any. Ben

(quoted from post at 20:02:52 10/06/16) Holy cowfish ! ! Is it REALLY, THAT important ?

I understand myself...called pride of ownership. I own it..may as well paint it the right color. Sort of like taking your fairly new truck into the body shop for some fender repair...at least from my viewpoint..it better come back with matching paint!

Use Rustoleum spray cans. Perfect match for Deere spray cans and applies better.

We bought a couple of cases of jd green rustolium paint and use it at work. I can paint a piece of metal and hold it next to one of our tractors and you cant tell the difference. It is good paint and a good match
