567 Monitor

I have a 567 with a Bale Trak Plus monitor, not the pro. I can't seem to get it into test mode. I turn it on by picking net or wrap and hold the counter button but it seems to just give me baler types when I do this. 467, 468, 567,568 and so on if I remember correctly...IIRC....I just learned this recently! Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks for your input!
 
Not sure what is going on but my 567 monitor started doing stupid things so I mailed it to ag express electronics and for under $200 I had a new lcd screen and keypad and everything works great. Took less than a week including shipping time.
 

If you're trying to get the channels touch Deere key while touching the monitor plus(+) key continuing to press plus(+) key to reach desired channel then release key
 
Jim, I have been running a 568 and I get could get to the channels while turning monitor on and holding counter key. This monitor on the 567 is different. It does not have a soft key to turn on , but a switch to choose between net and twine to turn monitor on. I do not see any info on electronic owners manual for 567 bale trak plus, just the pro. I will look when I get in today to see if I can find the key you are describing. I didn't have the option for variable core on 568 but do on this 567. Is there any advantage to using this feature? Thanks!
 

What yr model is your 567?? Monitors for later model 467/567 balers are similar to your 568 but older 467/567 with Bale trac plus monitor is as I outlined because I read info from my long gone 2001 467 operators manual.
 
I think my buddy paid $50 for this one at an auction. Haven't tested it yet but I think it got separated from baler at some of the sales. He goes all the time and picks up some good deals here and there. What about the variable core feature?
 

$50 for used monitor is dirt cheap. I think variable core can be field installed by adding sensor,solenoid & spool valve

I had the soft core option on a 435 many yrs back. I activated it a few times when conditions made core hard to start. I've not had on any rd baler since that 435.
