LA Timing Issue - UPDATE

So timing issue it was not as you all suggested! The points were glazed and after using the dollar bill trick I got them looking good. However, the few shots trying to start the tractor with glazed points fouled the spark plugs enough it still wouldn't start. A set of new Autolite's and it started first rotation of the starter. I had thought being in our basement with a dehumidifier would keep the points good but learned my lesson there.

hey Hotflash,
I've found most of the points you buy today no matter who's name is on them must come from China. They all corrode if there not run fairly often. The best I've found I get from The Brillman Company. Reasonable, prompt and good quality. Good Luck!
