I have an oil leak come from an expansion plug on the forward bottom side of the clutch housing. How is this plug removed? Parts manual says its a 1 inch expansion plug (item #14 in the expanded drawing).

My truthful answer would be that I don't know. But . . .on automotive engines you can drill a hole in it, screw in a sheetmetal screw and pull it out. That usually works on carburetor plugs. On larger plugs you try that first, then drill a larger hole, get a big screwdriver in it and pry the ***** thing out. To install one, clean up the hole, put sealant on the lip and tap it in until it seats, using a socket of the same size as guide to seat it square. Then expand it.

Hope this helps!
