4430 Front Rim Mystery Solved

So here it what I found out. The 4430 I bought had 11-16 tires on front with 8" rims. The uprights had been rubbed by tire. One rim was cracked and the other warped. Found out those tires aren't an option on 6 lug rims but are on 8 lug. Pretty sure those are on 10" rims. I've got some 10-16 rims but they would need to be turned backwards to work. Is this an option?[/url]

Yes one can turn rims backward but it puts more strain on wheels,hubs & brgs especially when a frt end loader is mounted on tractor.

It will be hard to keep them tight. Use extra long lug bolts
with nuts jammed up on the back side of the hub.
Wheels that will fit are available.

I'm sure your right. Was on a deadline and trying to make it happen. I found I could turn the 8" rims backwards and make it happen I think. Having tires .mounted tomorrow. I think the lugs I have would allow but on back. Good idea! Thanks for the reply!
