I have taken the clutch apart and I'm trying to get the clutch belt pulley off.It will slide out about 3 inches and stop Is there a trick or a pin that needs to be removed to get it to slide off.I need to replace the clutch operating T bolts. Sure would appreciate any helpful hints. This is a 1941 Model A John Deere Hand start.

Four bolts hold the clutch fork into the 1st gear reduction cover which is the large housing that the clutch drum protrudes thru. These four bolts and the fork need to come out before the drum can be removed. So clutch linkage needs to come apart too. Directly under the mag or distributor is the general area.

Make sure U note how the fork comes out so U can get it back in right. U need o remove the pulley brake to remove the fork
