John Deere AR Rims

I just bought new 12-26 JD 6 hump rims for my 1949 Unstyled AR restoration. $$$ not cheap!

When I picked them up I noticed the offset of the humps on the rim are opposite to my existing rims. The 6 humps for the wheel clamps are set back about 4"-5" back into the rim from the valve hole. My existing rims the humps are closer to the valve hole than the rear of the rim. I think it's going to look funny if I mount the tires with the valve to the outside and the hubs are set back in from the edge of the rim.

What I'm thinking is to just have the valve on the inside. The wheels would be mounted the same as original, just going to be a pain in the a$$ to fill with air.

What are your thoughts on this? Have any of you had this issue?

Cheers,
