To control the diesel throttle on my 720 with a pony motor, there is a linkage that goes from the dash to a lever that swivels on the pony motor and then this lever is connected to the speed control rod on the governor.
On an electric start 720 diesel, since there is no pony motor to that accepts the linkage from the dash, what is used to connect the speed control rod on the governor to the throttle linkages coming from the dash?
I saw in the parts book there is a bracket called "support speed control R20149R" but I can"t see any obvious place where this is attached on the tractor to pick the linkage from the dash.
I am looking at converting my pony motor to a 12 volt electric start and just want to make sure I have every thing covered before attempt it.
