Does any body know anything about a rust cotton picker are they worth anything. my email is open.they are blue in color.

I didn't think very many on here ever heard of this cotton picker. Just just few of us oldies go back that far.

I don't know anything about them but have seen several junked. I have talked to people that ran them and all said they broke a lot of spindles.

Rick pickers are not real plentiful , but I think these were a second rate item , and not worth much new , sometimes makes them more valuable later, either way you like pickers so get it .

i have never seen a rust picker but I know a little about them. They were one of the first companies to try to develop a mechanical picker and I believe they were bought by allis chalmers who used their design for their early pickers. They use long thin spindles opposed to the larger tapered spindles that deere has always used. As for value, scrap price is on par. I have several antique deere pickers and bought them at scrap price. They are all rare in this day and age and should be saved from the scrap yard but there are very few collectors with the desire to have one of much less to work on or try to restore one. I aspire to have my model 99 2 row and model 22 one row functional again one day.
