Can anyone point me to the correct Injector Puller for the injectors in a 1971 JD 4020? I assume this would include a slide hammer with whatever device attaches to the injector to be pulled. I will also post this on the Tool site. Thanks. Paul

The slide hammer has always been too light and too short but you can't get the adapter alone.
I use a much larger slide hammer. The newer adapter version doesn't break as easy as the original.

The JD tool is a small slide-hammer with a special adapter end that grabs the injectors grooves....should yank right out if the previous tech 'never-seized' the pencil injector.

I've removed a lot of pencil injectors by simply hosing them down with penetrating oil and getting them to rotate a bit..then gently prying them out with a big screwdriver. If you bend one(easy to bend too!) buy a new one.

I have seen those injectors stuck so bad that I ended up removing the head and punching them out... :(

If I can remember I will look on mine for a number but try searching Amazon
for a pencil injector pulley.
