Spark Plugs

What is the best all around spark plug for my late model JD A And JD 60 with todays gas ? :)

I use autolite 388
These were cheap and easy to find for me and I have not had any problems with them. They are a hotter heat range and work good for putting around. At times I have worked tractors with them in and no issues from hard work either.

I agree, B&D...I used Spiral-Wound "Low Resistance" Hi-Performance Plug wires from Auto-Zone..

They are Wire-connected from Dist, to Plug, but do have a Carbon Core..seems there is some Capacitive effect from the Spiral wound center coil..they really deliver a HOT Spark..!!

Plus, one set will do 4 JD Tractors..!!

I have always used the Autolite plugs until I decided to try AC Delco C88L plugs. Seems the long reach made my
styled A and B run much better. Noticeable difference in idle quality. I'm sold. Also heard that Delco plugs were the
only true non resistors. But I'm no expert by any means.

The Autolite and the AC plugs are good. Please don't use the Champion Plugs as the first time you flood the tractor with Champion plug, you will be going and buying another set of plugs. Now with the Champions after gas fouled, and you have time you can put the in your over and bake them for an hour, them might (MIGHT) run again for you.
