2510 hydraulic line under dash

I am replacing the hydraulic line under the dash, which goes to the reservoir in front of the radiator. It is low pressure ad attaches to the reservoir with a rubber hose and clamps. It appears to me that I will have to dismantle/remove the dash and take the steering wheel off. Am I correct? Is there any other pieces that I will have to disassemble to get the old tube out and the new one in? Looking for suggestions from those who may have done this.

Thanks

Why are you desiring to replace line? I see no reason to remove steering wheel to replace a hyd line. Have you removed both pieces of cowling? Cowling I'm referring to is one below dash that ign/light switches fit in and the one pictured.

I do not think you need to remove the steering wheel. Some of those lines are hard to get at and you may need to unbolt the dash and slide it up the steering wheel shaft to get enough room. I also have cut a few wrenches and bent a few to make them work in tight places as well. Tom

I had to replace the same line on my 2510 two years ago. Take the hood loose and raise it up. Take the cowling off that has the hand holds on it. You will need a stubby wrench to fit under the dash. No need to take the steering wheel off. It is a pain but it can be done. It helps to have small hands and some patience
