I have a 720D that is used mostly for light drawbar work, etc. We hooked up a grain drill with a two-way cylinder this morning and it cycled fine a few times. Then the cylinder suddenly acted as if it was plugged with oil (which it isn't) and reluctantly cycled and the pump made a lot of noise while trying to extend/retract. We shut off the engine and let the cylinder float down by gravity, then it would work a couple times and do the same again. The cylinder seemed to work a bit better if we used the lever in the slow raise/lower position. The tractor is set for two-way operation and the oil level was in the middle of safe range. FYI, we switched tractors and had no problem with the g. drill. Any thoughts? Thanks.
