1020 manual steering removal

Can someone post some photos or procedure too remove steering column for a 1020? Steering wheel turns, makes a grinding noise, but wheels do
not turn. Any help appreciated!
 

You can view parts catalog for free at JDparts.com. My guess is cages for balls has broken loose from block. Steering shaft(key 11) & block arestill available from JD

I cannot do the photos but try to follow along here. On the right side of the clutch housing there is a half round shaped plate that will need to come off. Behind it there will be a link from the steering worm to the bell crank held together with a pin, remove the pin. Now the coulmn can be unbolted from the clutch housing and dash for repair.

If you need some parts I have a 1520 that we are going to put power steering on and I would sell the manual steering box. It is a one owner lower hour tractor. It might be a few days untill I could get to it. Post back if interested and I will give contact info. Tom
