What is the difference between these pumps on 4010

Just curious what is different about these pumps if they serve the same purpose.

my 4010 has the one in the top photo(higher priced) but if the bottom photo(lower price) will work why should i pay more for the other. does it have better performance or reliabilty??

for some reason it will not let me post the photos. but the fuel transfer pump my tractor has 2 small post on the the top of the the pump on the side of the block the cheaper one has a domed shape top

The one with the "posts" is an Airtex and is the best.
