Ok so I have tried probably 10 times or more to get this transmission counter shaft back in. With all the keyed spacer rings and the one spacer ring that is also a lock ring and then the snap ring the guy who designed this tractor should have to work on it for the rest of his life. Talk about a real pain in the back sides just to get it back in.
After I cool back down I will be putting the shiftier rail back in and sure hope getting the detent balls back in place is not as hard as that counter shaft was.
Then after that is done I put it back together and then re-split it at the bell housing to do the clutch.
Then once the clutch is done I get to open up the engine and figure out where and why coolant is getting into the oil
