4010 hydraulics

Hydraulics are jitery when first started is that the pump going out.Fluid level is full.

More than likely hyd fluid drains back to sump while tractor was setting idle. One can add a hyd oil check valve to help problem. Google "Gerald J" for adding hyd check valve information.

Are you holding the clutch pedal down when you start it ? If so this WILL MAKE IT WORSE.

Many of them are like that some worse than others. TXjim has the answer of adding a check valve to prevent drainback. Tom

Thanks everyone I will look into a check valve. And I do hold the clutch down when starting out of habit

I also always push the clutch in when starting. It is just that many less parts for the starter to have to turn over. Tom
